The January 14 notice says rankings were finalized after Sybil reviews. Arena users with only the social Guild role received 75% of rewards; Undercity was exempt from those checks. Wallet allocations and current claim eligibility were not tested.
Cost to play
Do not bridge or trade to revive past eligibility. A network fee pays for a blockchain action; it does not buy eligibility. No current claim fee or dollar estimate was verified. Taiko’s July 23 postmortem reports a June 21, 2026 bridge incident with roughly $1.75 million taken, followed by full recollateralization and reopening on July 2. This history matters before exposing new capital. Bridging tokens can require a token approval and a separate transfer transaction; inspect both. Reading notices needs neither.
