Shelby Airdrop Status

Shelby's docs describe a future native token. Users may pay for storage in the native token or stablecoins. Storage providers would stake and earn native-token rewards, while delegators could share operator rewards. The full token supply and initial distribution are still marked for later publication.

That design confirms a planned network token, not an airdrop for ordinary testnet users. No official points balance, conversion rate, snapshot, allocation, checker, or claim page was found. A social post or community comparison with another storage project does not fill that gap.

The basic testnet route uses faucet tokens, so it should not need real capital. The larger cost is time and technical setup. Test networks can reset, fail, or erase data. Shelby's network page says its developer prototype may be wiped about once a week.

Use a separate test account and a harmless file. Keep private keys and API keys out of screenshots, code repositories, and support chats. A person asking for money, a seed phrase, or a mainnet token transfer is not following the public Shelby quick start.
