Why the project matters
- What it does

The product is now closing. Dango said it could not find a path to lasting commercial success. Trading has already stopped, and the underlying network is scheduled to stop on August 13, 2026.
- Who uses or pays
- Who uses and pays for the product still needs verification.
- What is live
- The current live product state is not yet recorded separately from campaign research.
- Where value flows
- Dango operated a Layer 1 exchange and points program before announcing its wind-down
- Who controls it
- Upgrade, custody, and governance control still need verification.

Reward rules
How rewards work
Dango used to distribute one million points each week. Perpetual traders shared 750,000, while DLP vault depositors shared 250,000. Referrals earned a share of direct and indirect referral points. Trading volume also unlocked boxes containing random Dango NFTs.
Those rules described a live exchange. They do not create a claim after the exchange closes. The wind-down post did not promise a DNG token, token conversion, or cash payment for points and NFTs. The only urgent action is recovering an existing balance.
Before spending
Cost and risk
Do not deposit or trade to chase old points. Dango warned that liquidity would become thin during the wind-down. Thin liquidity means a trade may fill at a much worse price than expected. Trading stopped on July 29, so old guides that recommend perpetual volume are dangerous and obsolete.
The chain is scheduled to stop on August 13 at 12:00 UTC. Dango said deposits left after that time would be refunded to the original Ethereum deposit address. Users should still verify their own balance and withdrawal. Fake support accounts often target people during shutdowns. No legitimate helper needs a seed phrase, private key, or advance fee.

Airdroplet verdict
Closed and winding down; withdraw instead of completing tasks
Best for: Existing Dango users who need to recover funds before the chain stops
Skip if: You do not already have funds or a position on Dango
- Dango publicly announced that the project is winding down.
- Trading stopped on July 29, 2026.
- The Layer 1 is scheduled to stop on August 13, 2026.
- No token payout for accumulated points was promised in the wind-down notice.
- The only useful action is withdrawing existing funds.
Score: 2/100. Dango is winding down, trading has stopped, and the Layer 1 is scheduled to stop on August 13, 2026. The previous 38 score treated points and an old roadmap as an active token opportunity. The official shutdown supersedes them.
