No current first-party rule reviewed confirms a Season 2 or another task-based CAMP distribution.
There is no reason for a new user to pay gas or sign a claim transaction for Season 1. The main risk is a stale or fake page that asks for a wallet connection, token approval, or recovery fee. Verify any future season from Camp's official site and accounts before signing.
Camp mainnet is a real network, but ordinary use still involves contract, token, and bridge risk. Do not take those risks for an airdrop that has not been announced.
