Movement Testnet Airdrop Guide

Movement is a modular layer for Aptos and Sui, and they have one of the biggest testnet airdrops that are currently live right now. The best part is that they are backed by Binance Labs – which means their coins could potentially have Binance Listing. This high-value airdrop offers the potential to earn over thousands dollars if you are very active in farming it. Movement captures the trend of modular blockchains – a new way of building upgradable blockchains that always have the latest technology and features.

What is Movement?

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Movement is a network of modular Move-based blockchains, similar to Aptos and Sui. The goal of Movement is to integrate Move-based zk rollup into the Ethereum ecosystem, thereby connecting fragmented liquidity and ecosystems. Although Aptos and Sui have robust technology, they lag behind the Ethereum ecosystem in terms of liquidity, developers, and users. Movement aims to scale Aptos and Sui within its network, which has attracted significant investment from top-tier VCs, including Binance Labs.

Why Participate in the Movement Testnet Airdrop?

Movement’s public Testnet recently went live, launching an incentivized Testnet program called MoveDrop. This program consists of 4 campaigns:

  1. The Battle of Olympus (for developers)
  2. Building the Parthenon (for all users)
  3. Gmove Campaign (interact on Twitter)
  4. Centurions (details coming soon)

In this post, we will focus on the “Building the Parthenon” campaign, which offers the largest amount of points for users.

Step-by-Step Guide to Participating in the MoveDrop Airdrop

You are set to get over $1000 in airdrops if you get T5 in all 5 Guilds, determination and dedication is key to victory – Ronal

1. Set Up Your Wallets

To start farming the Movement ($MOVE) airdrop, you’ll need to set up a few specific wallets: Razor Wallet and Nightly Wallet. You must bind these wallets in your Galaxy profile. Note that Galaxy allows only one non-EVM wallet, so you’ll need to import Razor Wallet into Nightly Wallet for seamless interaction with different dApps.

1.1. Bind Razor Wallet as an EVM Wallet on Galaxy

  • Switch to Movement EVM on Razor Wallet.
  • In Galaxy, go to your profile > settings > wallet address, settings under EVM.
  • Add Razor Wallet by clicking the plus button and selecting Razor Wallet.

1.2. Bind Razor Wallet on Movement Aptos

  • Back on Galaxy, scroll down to find Aptos and bind Razor Wallet under Aptos.

1.3. Import Razor Wallet into Nightly Wallet

  • Copy Razor Wallet seed phrase and paste it into Nightly Wallet
(*reminder: do not use either wallet for real transactions, reserve these for Testnet only)
  • Go to Razor Wallet’s Settings > Wallet > press the 3 dots > View mnemonics. Copy the seed phrase.
  • On the Nightly extension, press Start your journey > Restore existing wallet > Paste your recovery phrase that you copied from Razor > Restore
  • Both wallets will now have the same address and can be used interchangeably for different dApps.

1.4. Bind Razor Wallet on Sui Movement

  • Back on Galaxy, find Sui and bind Razor Wallet under Sui. Go to Setting > Wallet Address > Sui Network > Click Sui Wallet and Razor will connect!

2. Complete the Quests

Movement offers various quests structured by guilds. Each guild has different types of quests, including on-chain activities, social media interactions, and content creation. Here’s a breakdown of the guilds:

3.1. SPARTANS: All on-chain activities.

3.2 PATHFINDERS: Mainly Discord-related activities.

3.3. EXPLORERS: Activities related to Discord, Twitter, and downloads of Movement’s partner apps.

3.4. CREATORS: Content creation on Twitter, Discord, or YouTube.

3.4. SCHOLARS: Complete quizzes to earn points.

3. Earn Recognition and Badges

You only have to complete 10% of Quests in One Guild to gain recognition.

  • 10% Completion: Tier 5
  • 25% Completion: Tier 4
  • 50% Completion: Tier 3
  • 70% Completion: Tier 2
  • 90% Completion: Tier 1 (rare)

Based on the percentage of quests you complete in each guild, you will earn different tiers of recognition:

Completing higher percentages of quests will award higher-value airdrops. New quests may be added periodically, so stay updated.

4. Track Your Overall Progress

Once your wallets are set up, head to testnet.movementlabs.xyz to track your progress. This dashboard will help you monitor your interactions and completion status.

5. Verify Your Completion

Each quest you complete will redirect you to Galaxy for verification. Ensure to complete the tasks, mint the OAT, and earn points to verify your completion.

6. Stay Updated and Interact

You’ll need to stay engaged and keep an eye on any new quests or updates. Movement’s early stage means there are some bugs, but this also means fewer people are fully participating.
